What to Expect for during a Visit

A detailed examination including functional movement assessment is performed on every patient prior to initiating chiropractic treatment.  Each plan includes specifically-tailored techniques of manual soft tissue mobilization and stretching, as well as a variety of manual joint mobilization and manipulation techniques.

*Manual techniques referenced are ones performed with the hands directly*

Treatment is then administered to resolve patient complaints and increase functional capacity in as few visits as possible. Indefinite treatment is not required for biomechanical pain conditions.  Many patients elect to seek future care because it has been identified as a successful means for them to reduce symptoms and improve functionality within their daily routine, but ongoing care is not a requirement.

Dr. Sargent’s goal as a Chiropractic Physician is to provide a comprehensive treatment plan that addresses the symptoms experienced by the patient in ‘the now’, while altering the anatomical structures in a way that enhances the functional capability in ‘the to-be’. Through hands-on treatment options, structural problems are corrected, which leads to pain-free functional activities.
