About JMR Mobility

What is JMR Mobility?

Individualized Chiropractic Care from a Neuro-Musculo-Skeletal Specialist with the emphasis on joint and soft tissue mobility. The improvement in mobility results in pain reduction and increased range of motion which ultimately leads to improved functional capability and overall functional endurance.

Why Mobility is Key?

First, it must be understood that the human body is a biomechanical marvel.  Each and every movement is created by a vast interconnected network of biomechanical anatomical structures such as muscles, tendons, and joints.  The body attempts to regulate the biomechanical motion by symmetrically distributing the biomechanical force to all the surrounding joints and soft tissues structures.  Because there are so many anatomical structures involved in creating a single biomechanical movement at a joint, there are a multitude of joints and soft tissue structures that absorb the biomechanical force of a movement or straining posture.

Repetitive movement or sustained postures often create asymmetrical loading of these biomechanical forces within the motion or posture.  This results in joints and muscles in the area to become overstressed and ultimately fatigued which then creates symptoms in the area, but also can be felt to spread to the surrounding compensating anatomical structures.  This leads to the human body experiencing pain and reduced mobility, and over time functional deficit and reduced functional endurance.

JMR Mobility

To allow for functional improvement, ALL of the associated anatomical structures must then be addressed with a combination of manual therapy techniques facilitated by the doctor of Chiropractic.   This ultimate goal for symmetrical mobility and optimum functional endurance of the body’s joints and soft tissues is the focus of JMR Mobility.  This translates to Patients experiencing pain free motion allowing them to perform their daily functional routine.
